The People's Table will host its first ever Coloring Contest on February 12th!

The rules for the Coloring Contest are:

1. Who Can Enter:

   • Open to children ages 3 through 12, with the age groups being 3 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9, and 10 to 12.

   • One entry per child.

   • Note: Age groups may be combined if there aren’t enough participants in a category.

2. What to Submit:

   • Use the official coloring page provided.

   • Color with crayons, colored pencils, or markers.

   • Keep your coloring neat.

3. How to Enter:

   • Submit your finished coloring page by Monday, Feb 9th.

   • In-person drop-off only.

   • Include the following on your entry:

   • Child’s Name: ________

   • Age: ________

   • Parent/Guardian Name: ________

   • Parent/Guardian Contact Info: ________

4. Judging:

   • Winners will be selected based on creativity and neatness.

   • Judges’ decisions are final.

5. Prizes:

   • One winner per age group.

   • Winners will be announced on Thursday, Feb 5.

6. Disqualification:

   1. Late submissions.

   2. Missing required information.

   3. Entries not using the official coloring page.

7. Original Drawing Submission:​​

   • Children in the age category 10 to 12 will be given the option to submit an original art piece. The theme is "Lumbee Through My Eyes".

   • ​Artwork must be original and created by the child.

   • Drawings may show culture, family, traditions, community, nature, or daily life.

   • Crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paint may be used.

   • No traced, copied,. or AI-generated artwork.​​​​
